A second castaway is voted off Survivor: Fiji.
Survivor: Fiji Blog
2nd Elimination: Erica
This proved to be your typical “boring” 2nd episode of Survivor. So since I’m extremely pressed for time this week, I’m banking on this being the shortest blog entry ever. Let’s cut to the chase.
1. Glad I didn’t pick Boo. Wow. Talk about accident prone! Boo just couldn’t catch a break. First his eye, then his finger and knee, and finally the hammock! It was definitely funny, but that’s got to be a concern for anyone who had Boo as their pick.
2. Glad I didn’t pick Erica. Initially, making Erica my pick was a little tempting. She seemed to be smart and understand the game’s strategy. My one concern was that she was a little bit of a loud-mouth. Sure enough, her yelling was her downfall. Too bad she didn’t last longer. I have a feeling that she would’ve made things pretty interesting.
3. Glad I didn’t pick Gary. According to the previews, one of the guys on Moto is going into respiratory distress next week. That has to be one of the scariest moments as a Survivor fan, when somebody on your pick’s team is going down with an injury and you don’t know who it is. Seriously, you can bet against stupidity or abrasiveness, but there’s no way to predict who’s going to get hurt. As safe as Edgardo seems, he’s one sea snake bite away from being my first pick to not make the merge. Of course after hearing that somebody was going down, I made multiple slow motion replays using my TiVo. Thankfully, from the footage they showed, it’s highly unlikely to be Edgardo or Alex. They both appeared to be nervous onlookers. That leaves Boo, Dreamz, and Gary. I know Boo’s accident prone, but out of the three of them I’m guessing that Gary’s the most likely to come down with a serious medical condition. I guess we’ll see.
Sorry that there’s nothing funny or overly enlightening this week. But you have to admit, it was a pretty dull episode.
