A Minnesota Timberwolves Playoff Movie
DeROK.Net is once again proud to present its annual Minnesota Timberwolves Playoff Presentation. The initial purpose of the Playoff Presentation was simply to make something that I could watch as both a reminder of the past season and as a source of enthusiasm for Kevin Garnett and his teammates as they began the the playoffs. That would all change as the 2003 version, “One Shot” went from being played on my computer screen to being seen halfway across the country on the scoreboard of the Target Center. Suddenly my movie was no longer only getting me revved up for the playoffs, but the whole Minnesota Timberwolves nation. So as I began working on the fourth installment there was only one goal in mind: find a way to top “One Shot”. So after countless hours of choosing pictures of Kevin Garnett, capturing Latrell Sprewell on video, and putting the whole thing together, I think it’s safe to say that the mission was accomplished. For any fans of “One Shot”, I have this piece of advice – make sure you go back and watch it one last time before viewing this new movie. You’ll never be able to fully appreciate it again. “Can You Feel It?” has brought Flash movies to a whole new level.
So why is this year’s theme “Can You Feel It?”? Well I have a question for you. When was the last time you saw somebody with a “You Gotta Believe” poster at Yankee Stadium? Yeah, I can’t remember seeing it either. That’s because “You Gotta Believe” is for Cubs fans, Red Sox fans, and fans of any other baseball team that can’t spend half a billion dollars on their infield. “You Gotta Believe” is for losers. The Yankees don’t have to believe – they know. Fans like to talk about how bad they want it. But the real reason that they’re so hungry is that they’ve never experienced winning and they’re scared that the opportunity is slipping away. So what’s my point? For the past seven years I’ve fallen into those traps. I thought that huge amount of support and desire shown by the Minnesota Timberwolves and their fans would finally bring the team to the next level. Yet eight years later, Kevin Garnett is still waiting for that first playoff series victory. And after all this time, I’ve finally learned something. When everything is on the line, it doesn’t matter how bad you want it or if you believe. The only question is “Can You Feel It?” The great teams don’t need to make a lot of noise and tell everyone how great they are, they go out on the floor and prove it. The great teams don’t care if they only have one shot, because they step up to the line and they make it. The great teams don’t worry about making it out of the first round, because their eyes are focused on the title.
The Minnesota Timberwolves are a great team. I can feel it.
“Can You Feel It?” is a 34 MB movie. “One Shot” was 5MB. Obviously, it’s going to take some time to download a movie of this size, so things are a little different this time around. First, this movie is so complex that the likelihood of a person downloading this movie in a Flash format and being able to play it without any problems was pretty small. So I’ve converted the file from the Flash format to a normal MPEG-1 format which means you can use Windows Media Player, Real Player, or whatever else you’d like to watch the movie without any problems. Second, this movie isn’t set up to stream from this website. It would be pretty annoying to sit and wait for a 34 MB movie to stream. Depending on your connection, we could be talking an hour or more. So instead, you can download the movie by following the instructions below, go do whatever you’d like while the download completes, and then play the movie off your hard drive.

Like “One Shot” before it, “Can You Feel It?” also made its way onto the scoreboard of the Target Center!
